Eugene doesnt have many black metal bands but im lucky enough to be friends with 2 of them.
Cult Of Unholy Shadows is one of them Tormentium being the other. I was asked by
Cult Of Unholy Shadows to design the cover to a 8 song album called "In The Shadows Of Undying Pain". The style of this band is very old school straight forward metal and we felt the artwork
should match that. I feel like we did a good job of capturing artistically of the visions that
the music put in my head.
This release is limited to 100 copies and you can order a copy here:
You can find the band on myspace here.
or you can listen to a from the promo c.d.

Another piece of Buzzov*en merch! this is an 18x24 3 color screen print that
will be printed by the fine folks at Seizure Palace in Portland Oregon.
This poster is limited to just 50 and will only be available at the gigs.
I believe its going to be something like $15.00 but im not certain.
This might end up as a shirt design as well but we are still throwing that
idea around. I would like to thank Erik Jarvis at Tone Deaf Touring and
Fran and Nick at Seizure Palace for making this happen, Thanking the
band goes without saying! I would also like to thank Paula Rhodes and
Mykull Davidson for the support that has led up to me working for these guys.
I will be at the Portland gig, so come say hello!
Im really looking forward to seeing Buzzov*en in the flesh and getting to
know them better.

I am very excited about this design!
I was lucky enough to share the stage with Coffins in May of 2009 here in Eugene
at The Oak Street Speakeasy which is also the club i run sound at. Not to be biased
but this is a great venue to see shows at, clean, good sound, good food, nice staff
and its always free to get in.
My band H.C. Minds opened for Coffins/Yob and Stormcrow, my very first screen
printed poster was for this show. and my first gig with H.C. Minds. I didnt have a
press at the time and the design was 3 colors as you can imagine registration was
a little tough! and i sold 13 at the gig
All of the bands really liked the poster in fact Stormcrow contacted me about getting a high res
scan to include it in their split with coffins, somehow the format changed if i recall and
that didn't end up happening.
Uchino emailed me and asked me if i would be interested in making a design for them.
how could i say no? I was blown away the first time i heard the band dot[.] (the band pre Coffins). When i saw Coffins they quickly became one of my favorite current bands.
The following is a sort of a set of progress images.
You can buy this shirt at Warlord Clothing.

I was lucky enough to be given permission to screen print some posters for my friends The Devil Makes Three they played 2 nights back to back at the Wow Hall here in Eugene Oregon. I think they were the first band to ever play 2 consecutive nights at this venue. I printed around 60 for both days, on the first day we sold out so my friend and rodie for Dm3 Eric (seen below displaying his bottle of pbr) offered to help me
print more the following morning, we did another 60 and they sold out the 2nd night.
16x20 2 color screen print on tag board.
here are some images for you!

This is the first of a few designs i will be doing for the band Buzzov*en.
Im very excited to be working with these guys im a long time fan.
They are very easy to work with and in talking with Kirk Fisher i feel
like we are cut from the same mold. I look forward to creating great things
with them in the future.
